The wolverine is defiantly the rarest, elusive, animal in the Canadian Rockies, probably one of the rarest in the whole of Canada. Most people see them by luck when they are out on a back country trip. Even then most people never ever see them. To watch them for a minute or more you have to be in a camouflaged hideout for at least a month so they get used the fact your there all the time. The place to build a hideout is on the perimeter of a opening clearing where there is a kill. When you watch you will probably see other wildlife such as wolves, cougars, coyote, eagles, lynx, and possibly foxes.
